7 months

Katie is now 17.5lbs, 27"long and as stubborn as she can be : P

She is refusing to eat any solids lately but hopefully it's because her 2 lower central incisor teeth are finally coming out.

She is also a lot more active now and she is almost crawling but she can only go backwards : D

She says mama and dada all the time and sings the ee i ee i oh part of the old mackdonald's had a farm song from Baby Einstein.

My parents are coming to visit this saturday 05/29/10, so Katie will finally get to meet her grandparents.

5 months!!

Katie turned 5 months on my Birthday and for some reason she decided to be very naughty at the restaurant that day : (
She is also getting cuter by the day...she can even sit all by herself now.
I started giving her Gerber 1st foods when she was around 4 months. At first she only liked the carrots, but now she also likes sweet potatoes and bananas.
She was 15.5lbs and 26" on her last doctors appointment. She is very active, silly and full of personality.

Katie at 3 months:

Weights 13.10lbs and is 23 1/2" long.
Smiles all the time, specially in the morning.
Makes sounds when you are talking to her like she is making conversation.
Likes to watch TV.
Loves when we play with her feet.
Hates tummy time
Likes to take baths and hates when we put her clothes back on.
She hasn't yet decided if she likes her pacifier or not.
Loves to suck her fingers and gets really mad when we don't let her.
Gets grumpy whenever she's tired.
Cries when she needs to poop : )
Bites her daddy when he bothers her : p

Feliz Natal!

We had dinner at Atlanta's house on Christmas Eve and my poor baby was feeling sick the whole day: (
We woke up around 8 am Christmas morning to open gifts and we had a yummy breakfast afterwards (Chris made cinnamon rolls from scratch!)

2 months old!

Katie is now 12.3lbs and 22 3/4 inches long. She smiles when you talk to her and it's the perfect baby whenever her belly is not hurting. She loves her swing and hates hats (that's why she looks grumpy in this pics). I'm more and more in love with her every day : )

We went to the mall last wed since Pedro was off because of Veteran's Day. We walked past Pagoda Piercing so I decided to pierce Katie's ears. I had to tell the lady that Katie was 3 months old for her to do it. She cried a little bit and Pedro got mad at me for it. We also went to JC Penney to take a picture of the 3 of us since we don't have any.

I dressed Katie up as a pumpkin and me, Peter, Andre, Emily and Chris went to the Amish Market to buy some goodies. Maybe next year we can go Trick or Treating : P

I took Katie to the doctor today for her one month appointment. She now weighs 10.9 lbs and she is 22 inches and a quarter long. The doctor said that she is on the 90th percentile list.
I started giving her Mylanta today to see if she has reflux. She hated the taste of mint : )

Kaitlyn is 1 week old!!

I took her to the doctor today and she is now weighing 8.5lbs. My little girl peed on the doctor and cried like crazy while the nurse was holding her foot for a test : )

Kaitlyn was born on wednesday, 10/07/2009 at 11:50am with 7pounds 15ounces and is 21 inches long.
She only lost 3 ounces in the 1st 2 days before my milk came in.
She passed all the tests and is a very healthy baby.
